Google Hosts Party for Anti-Trump Leftist Plotters

Google is raising eyebrows yet again, this time for co-hosting a social event with the Democrat super PAC Priorities USA—a group unapologetically committed to “resisting the Republican agenda.” The timing of the gathering is striking, coming right on the heels of Kamala Harris’s resounding defeat to Donald Trump. If there’s one thing the tech behemoth and Democrat operatives agree on, it’s that the fight against conservatives is far from over.

The event, scheduled for Wednesday, is more than just a casual get-together. It kicks off with a “digital retrospective” hosted by Priorities USA to dissect the role of online campaigning in the 2024 election cycle. Considering their digital efforts failed to push Harris across the finish line, the super PAC will also strategize on how best to “resist the Republican agenda” moving forward. And because no brainstorming session is complete without a little schmoozing, Google will step in to host a happy hour afterward for attendees.

Priorities USA, which has been generously bankrolled by George Soros, spent a staggering $75 million on digital mobilization efforts for Harris. Despite this hefty investment, the results didn’t exactly scream “money well spent.” That hasn’t stopped Google from aligning itself with the group, even as questions swirl about the company’s supposed neutrality. This move comes as Donald Trump has repeatedly accused the tech giant of rigging its search algorithms to boost negative stories about him while suppressing information favorable to conservatives.

In response to the criticism, a Google spokesperson confirmed the company’s role in hosting the happy hour but was quick to downplay their involvement in the larger event. According to the statement, the company’s political sales team frequently hosts such gatherings for “large ad buyers on both sides of the aisle.” Of course, critics might point out that Republicans don’t seem to get nearly as much love from Silicon Valley’s champagne set.

Elon Musk, the owner of X (formerly Twitter), has not minced words about Google’s alleged left-wing bias. Earlier this year, Musk described the search giant as being “controlled by far-left activists” and called out its role in censoring conservative voices. In one particularly damning example, Musk posted a video showing how a search for “Donald Trump” on Google conveniently displayed results overwhelmingly about Kamala Harris instead. It’s worth noting this isn’t the first time Musk has accused Google of manipulating narratives—it’s just another chapter in the ongoing saga of Big Tech versus the right.

As Trump prepares to take office once again, his administration’s focus on reining in tech giants like Google is sure to intensify. With events like this cozy Democrat-Google happy hour, it’s getting harder for Silicon Valley to claim impartiality. For many conservatives, it’s just more evidence that Big Tech is more interested in playing politics than providing unbiased platforms.
