Donalds Drops Bombshell: Millions Face Deportation If GOP Wins

Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) stated over the weekend that if Republicans gain control of the entire federal government in 2024, significant changes will be made to border security and the number of illegal aliens in the U.S. Donalds made these remarks during a Sunday interview on “Fox News Sunday” with Shannon Bream, addressing what promises he could make to the American people should Republicans secure victory in November.

“First and foremost, Trump had the border secured when he was President of the United States. When Joe Biden took office, he immediately dismantled those policies simply because they were instituted by Donald Trump. This was a very foolish decision by Biden, and the country has suffered as a result,” Donalds emphasized.

Donalds outlined the Republican strategy, stating, “We will end ‘catch-and-release’ and reinstate the ‘Remain in Mexico’ policy. It is imperative to deport millions of people who should not be here, as our cities and states cannot sustain the influx of illegal migrants. Under Biden, we’ve seen alarming breaches, such as Jordanian individuals attempting to infiltrate Quantico, and attempts to scale the border wall in California.”

“What President Trump will do is reinstate the policies that kept our country secure and ensure the deportation of millions,” he asserted. “This is a necessary action. Furthermore, in Congress, with policies like H.R. 2, if we secure the necessary votes in the House and the Senate, we will push to make these measures federal law, thereby granting the president more authority to safeguard the nation.”

Donalds’ remarks reflect a commitment to restoring and strengthening border security policies that were effective under the Trump administration. He argues that such measures are critical to maintaining national security and managing the immigration crisis that has worsened under the current administration. By reinstating these policies and pursuing legislative action, Republicans aim to provide a sustainable and lawful approach to immigration enforcement and border security.
