Back in 2021, it took nearly a year to get the same job done. So, what’s the rush in 2024? Could it have anything to do with an upcoming election?
Xiao Wang, CEO of Boundless, a company that helps immigrants navigate the naturalization process, doesn’t even try to sugarcoat the situation. He points out that the speed-up in processing is about more than just clearing backlogs. It’s about “reshaping the electorate” just in time for a critical election. Wang openly admits, “Every citizenship application could be a vote that decides Senate seats or even the presidency.” If that’s not a red flag, what is?
This administration’s not-so-subtle goal has always been to reshape the electorate. With Biden’s popularity dwindling, they’re banking on this strategy to pull Harris over the finish line in November. The New York Times conveniently glosses over whether these fast-tracked new voters are legal or illegal immigrants. Still, they make it clear that these new citizens tend to vote Democrat.

They downplay the significance, claiming the number of new citizens is nothing compared to the number of deaths and new seniors. But let’s not forget—the Times themselves admit that these newly minted voters will have the most significant impact in key swing states like Georgia, Arizona, Nevada, and Pennsylvania.
Kamala Harris has had this playbook ready from day one. As the de facto border czar, she oversaw the administration’s lax immigration policies that effectively opened the floodgates. Her campaign even boasted about the “electoral implications” of not deporting illegal immigrants, calculating how they could swing key states.
The urgency to “reshape the electorate” has only intensified as Trump gains momentum. With Trump leading in national and swing state polls, the administration is doubling down. They’ve tossed out 200,000 deportation cases, unilaterally paroled over a million illegals, and pushed through a mass amnesty policy to shield half a million more from deportation.
And now, they’re racing to naturalize as many immigrants as possible—over 3.3 million since Biden and Harris took office. It’s clear as day: they’re rigging the electorate in a desperate bid to cling to power in 2024.
